Lead vocal and acoustic guitar: Jodie Arkulin
Having performed as a solo singer/songwriter for the past 3 years, Jodie had the honour of joining Glorious Rascals in 2016 due to her strong musical heritage.
Inspired by artists such as Eddi Reader, Kris Delmhorst and Joni Mitchell, Jodie brings a folk/acoustic influence to the distinctive and intuitive sound that the band have created together over the years. Being a Rascal is a responsibility Jodie takes very seriously… even if it does occasionally involve playing the kazoo.
Lead guitar: Bill Baker
Bill has spent too many years searching for the tone that launched a thousand hits; even one or two would have been nice. On the way he played in various bands supporting the likes of Dave Berry, Steve Marriott, Paul Jones and others from the past.
He is now thoroughly enjoying working with this most charming bunch of Rascals.
Bass and vocals: Keith Vaughan
Keith has been playing the bass guitar since the 60’s. Then he was part of a well known cover band which graced the stage with the likes of the Small Faces. He converted to the blues following a group reunion back in the 90’s and is particularly keen on the modern take on this genre.
He brings his creativity to the band by penning new songs.
Drums and percussion: Robert Deane
Robert has been hitting things indiscriminently for 40 years, which he continues to do as a Rascal with relish. He manages to keep his place in the band by making the hot drinks during practices and storing the PA in his shed
He did once get played by John Peel in a ‘best new bands from Norwich’ slot. Now he’s proud to be playing with one of the best (old) bands in Devon.
